Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is NASCARs best and fastest racer from the moment he gets to drive in place of some random guy, but his whole world comes crashing down when he is in a wreck. and he has to come back and try to beat the french driver that has been winning in his absence from raceing. This movie is a perfect example of Will Ferrell’s comdey. there is about 10 to 15 mins. of him running around thinking he is on fire, in his underwear of course. and all kinds of nonsense that will keep you busting up the entire time. Yeah its true it has absolutly no point at all, it’s really more like a lot of SNL skits tied together by a really crappy daddy issue plot, and I loved this movie for it. Also surprisingly John C. Reilly who plays Cal Naughton Jr. was just as funny as Ferrell. Talladega Nights Comes at you like a Spider monkey! so I give it a 9.5 out of 10. and ill be going to see this one agains im sure.

The Da Vinci Code staring Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou is a movie based on a book, as many of you probably know. And the church really didnt want you to see it because they think you are stupid. So I went to see it. The movie touches on the Illuminati and Tom Hanks has to figure out puzzles while getting chased by the cops who are being mislead by of course the hands of god on earth. All and all I have to say the book is much better, but maybe only because I read it first a while back, since while watching I was just kinda like thats weird I dont remember that being like that. Nonetheless a good movie. I give this one an 8 out of 10

Scary Movie 4 was on the menu today for my roommate and me. So we went to see the latest parody of the last few years of scary movies, and to be honest we were very disappointed. The movie starts off well with a good saw scene, and Dr. Phil is one of the best parts of the movie, lets not forget Anthony Anderson! Just trying to grab some nuts! anyway. Most of the movie I found myself laughing, but not really a good laugh one of those why is this happening laughs. But it had some definite high points that make it worth watching. The movie uses the War of Worlds story for the basic plot what a mistake and uses mostly physical and sexual humor (dont worry about any jokes going over your head maybe dr. Phil cuz you dont know who he is or something? But yeah no.) I give this one a rating of 5 out of 10 joints.

But Anthony Anderson gets a perfect 10! Woooo! FLUGTAG!

So I saw Silent Hill, bet many of you didnt know it was a video game first! I never played the game though my roommate did so he tells me. Both of us left the theatre pretty happy with what we saw too, though a little confused. Rose (Radha Mitchell) is the mother of a young girl (Sharon; Jodelle Ferland) who suffers from sleepwalking nightmares. Their doctor suggests to them psychiatric help for the girl but Rose is determined to find the reason for the girls weird memories by taking her to the town the girl talks about while sleep walking. Once they get to the town the girl is lost and Rose sets off to find her, and runs into some pretty crazy obstacles all while slowly reviling a terrible secret about the town. With plenty of plot twists and lots of action and none stop suspense Silent Hill is a movie that anyone who hasnt played the game can enjoy, while also catering to the people who played the game with game style music cuts from the original game!). Very well done all around on this one, and the best video game to movie yet!(by far)

The wrong place at the wrong time is were Slevin (Josh Hartnett) finds himself as two rival crimebosses in NYC think he is someone who owes them lots of money, so they both call on him for a favor against the other crimeboss to call off their dept. Slevin is monitered by an assasin and a cop during the whole ordeal. This movie was a fast plot twist after another, and was hard to predict what was going on. The cast is fantastic, and the story is great along with some great camera work and story fillers this movie becomes easy to fallow for even the slowest movie goer. Lucky Number Slevin gets a 9 out of 10 joint rating.

A few days ago my roommate and I went out and saw Inside Man Staring Denzel Washington and Clive Owen. Clive Owen planned the perfect bank robbery, and Denzel is the cop trying to bust him. This movie was very well directed, and acted to perfection! The robbery takes place at a bank containing some secrets that the owner of the bank would like to keep secret, so the bank owner brings in an expert at handling these situations (Jodie Foster). I actually didnt figure out what they were doing until the movie wanted me to which is kind of unusual for me, and my roommate for that matter. So I think its a given that Im gunna say you should go see this movie stoned or no it was just plain badass. I give this one a 10 out of 10 joints

Hey, what’s up readers? I just visited with me padre’ this weekend and we decided it would be a good idea to smoke up and head out to the movies!

First we went and saw 16 Blocks with Bruce Willis and Mos Def. The Movie description is ” Bruce Willis plays a broken down detective.” So I mean it only makes sense that it would be another classis Bruce Willis film! (Even though his part in sin city and …well all his movies… is the same he is a badass.) Just like I expected, it was a good movie, which I had already seen. While Mos Def was surprisingly good in his part with that crazy voice thing. All and all it was a fun movie to go see, and a good excuse to get stoned with my dad. I give this one a generous rating of 7 out of 10 joints.

Next we decided to go see V for Vendetta, after some new two chamber bubbler action of course. This movie is accompanied with a description along the lines of, government is bad, hero kills people (oh and knows karate), and Natalie Portman. I must admit I didn’t think it would be a very good movie, but I was stoned so what the hell. And damn was I surprised because this movie was pretty much just badass! And I don’t know who Hugo Weaving is but he is a Top… Gun… Actor! This movie pretty much has the stoner spirit of “fuck the police!” and “Fuck Bush”, and it has a kick ass ninja who kills people because he is pretty much just crazy. I never read the comic book that there apparently was; otherwise I may have known what was going on a little better. Because I just am not sure about the whole past thing, but this movie kicked ass. Go figure.

Dave Chapelle’s Block Party: - 9 of 10 joints
This movie was pretty badass, and good to see stoned, good music and Chapelle being funny. It’s a given that this is a stoner movie. I’m pretty sure they were stoned throughout but im not sure if i was just stoned and hoping they were too. This movie is awesome go see it.

Ultraviolet: - 6.5 of 10 joints
This action sci-fi is just that, dont expect a deep plot, and try to ignore the sad attempts at one… The action was pretty cool, and they movie overall is a good watch, but dont even go if your looking for a all around movie… this one is pretty one track minded… killing and what not.

Firewall: - 7.5 of 10 joints
Han Solo. The movie is good too but I mean Han… cept the ending… fuck the ending…. the ending lowers the score the most.
